I am trying out new Firewall and Antivirus software, the company is Comodo (google it).
The software is not only Free, but it's free for life, and free updates for life. |

| I've heard that ZoneAlarm is pretty decent too. |

Another one worth a mention is Antivir.
I stay away from the "Big Boys" in the Security industry.
I figure If I were to write a virus or piece of spyware I would have a good loook at what the big boys were doing and see if I could figure out a way around their stuff. - Thought being If I can beat them, I am into 90% of the systems out there.
With a small company, they have access to the big boys virus definitions, and since fewer people use a small companies stuff why bother trying to crack it I can only get into a few aditional machines. It's not time effective.
With that in mind, Beware of Norton's and McaFee's
(Mcafee writes the spyware for the US Govt, do you want to trust them with your security?) |
